And we are a group of ethnic minorities in Sapa over 300 years ago, for a long time our grandparents were taught Latin, French languages. And now our group speaks French, English. The name "Saparis" does not mean, it is my stories of combining Sapa and Paris.

And today, like other ethnic groups, they have also begun to combine ethnic costumes with modern clothes like the Kinh people to facilitate daily living and production.
The H'mong are the most populous ethnic group in Sa Pa, accounting for about 53% of the population. In the past, they were very good at growing wet rice, living along the Yangtze River (China). In a conflict with the Han people, most of them migrated to the South and divided into many small groups. The first H'mong people to come to Sapa were mainly concentrated in the Hoang Lien range about 300 years ago.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve was established in 1999, with an area of 17,662 hectares, including 13,320 hectares of strictly protected areas and 4,343 hectares of ecological restoration areas. Pu Luong is the name of the Thai ethnic people, meaning the highest mountain peak in the region. Pu Luong is a nature reserve with scientific, socio-economic and eco-tourism value.
